Fred Ritchin's, "After Photography" 

    While reading this article the section "Photography the Future so a Version of it Does Not Happen" really stuck out to me. I believe it stuck out to me because it said you can use digital photography to show a bad future that can happen if we continue to do the things we normally do. It talked about a photo of an iceberg and using Photoshop to show how the iceberg will completely melt and raise sea levels if we continue with this level of global warming. I believe that a simple photo being altered like that could change a few people's decisions, which is what the world needs.

    Also in that same part of the article, it said that the police used digital photos to help find children that have been lost. I think that's amazing, that ability to take a photo of someone and then change the way they look and then using that new photo to find a lost person is amazing. I'm pretty sure when digital photography became a thing no photographers thought about the greatness digital photos can be, being able to change digital photos to help find lost people is another amazing aspect of digital photos that most people didn't think about
